InsiteAdult are Scammers
 

They own me $1600 since April 2003, I've emailed them ~50 times since then and asked for my money, but so far I've only received some broken promisses.

About 2-3 weeks ago I've sent them my last request and told them that if I don't get my $1600 until 30th Jan 2003 I'll report them for fraud. Since I didn't get anything since then, I've contacted the FTC a few minutes ago and told them about this case. I've not sent an official fraud report right now, but I've requested further advice from the FTC.

So if you're also owned money by InsiteAdult, don't remain quiet cause of their TOS, you won't get any money out of them anyways.

And if you're thinking of promoting any of InsiteAdults sites, to a search on this board and take this as another warning.

I hear ya...what advice did you get from the FTC? They are still allowing signups to their program and they are actively promoting sites from their mailers. Sponsers should boycott these clowns unless they pay up...There are a few sponsers that are on GFY all the time and I may pull my traffic from them if they continue to allow Insite to promote their sites with traffic they arnt paying for....anyone else they owe around here? Lets team up!

Well, I've contacted the FTC about 1 hour ago, and if US-officials work as fast as europeans then I won't get an answer within the next few days :-)

I think I've read every thread about InsiteAdult on this board so far, cause I've searched for new ones every now and then. And it appeared that there are still a lot of people which don't know about their bad reputation, so there's always a good reason to expose or remind about cheating programs.

1. People are still signing up for their program and still getting ripped off

2. Maybe we can get these guys to pay up if we join together and play some hardball...well known sponsers on this board still let them promote their programs with the traffic they are not paying for...if they know insite are scammers doesnt that make them look bad too?? We need a webmaster Union

I'd say everybody, including sponsors would have to make a business decision if it's really worth to make money with a company thats under audition of the FTC.
And I'm pretty sure that I'm not the first one who reported them during the last few months, since a lot of webmasters already talked about that measurement about half a year ago.

I think I will contact some of the sponsers they are promoting...they might not even know thats where the traffic is coming from with pop-ups ect.

I wonder if anybody got payed since, uhmm lets say, July. I've heard tons of complaints, and it seems as if nearly everybody got his last payment at the end of April 2003.

It's not about exposing a cheater, this is something good, I was talking about the fact that you shouldn't have had that much amount made with them, since you could have easily checked this board and not promote them.
Even if you didn't know about them from here, you should have sent them smth. like $50 or $100 traffic worth and stop and wait for the first time payment, and then continue, they were never presented anywhere like a solid reputable company to throw lots of traffic to without fearing you might not get paid.

This reminds of the practices of that dialer scammer company called "dialerco" ...

I agree, but they payed me a small amount (~$400) for my initial traffic, so I thrusted them at the beginning of 2003 and sent more traffic. And I started to do a search on the boards when I missed my first payment.

But they teached me a lesson, nowadays I ALWAYS search the boards when I want to signup with a new sponsor, and I never promote a new small sponsor with inhouse CC processing.

I stopped sending traffic to them some time ago, but that doesn't help!

It would be nice to see you win a judgement against them.

I used them at the end of 2002 then pulled the links when my first check never arrived. It took about 3-4 months of emails and phone calls to finally get my money.

I'm chuckling at "checking the boards" before using a sponsor.
You can find someone praising them, someone slamming them - no matter what sponsor you're searching for.
So who do you believe?

I don't think that there's any real chance to see any of that money again, but I can be a real pain in the ass for them, and maybe they'll see that it causes less troubles to pay up.

Fuckers owes us about $2000 as well, talked on the phone some months ago (To Frank I think) and they said they had some money problems at the moment.
But hoped to get a check for a small amount away in just a week or so.

Unfortunately it's right that you'll find a bad thread about every sponsor, even the most honest ones, but most of the time you can tell the difference between a lame ass drama queen and a real scamming sponsor.

Nowadays there're more than enough competing programs out there to choose from. And luckily the honest ones convert better anyway, at least long term.

Yeah, Frank tried to play the "call me" game with me as well, that's only another shit to gain a few more weeks and spread a few more promisses.
Normalwise I'm a really patient person, but in this case I'm 100% sure that they don't have the intention to pay anybody, they're just trying to gain time and get away with it.
They also didn't reply to any thread about them during the last few months.

It takes more than 2-3 different people praising them, those could be the owner(s) under different nicknames.
If you don't trust a sponsor, go with the reliable big guys.

everyone they owe money email me (flashfire at shaw.ca) I will compile a list...I think it will be easier for us to take action together...they are pushing some pretty big name sponsers with this stolen traffic....

Trouble for me is insite did pay me for a long time without any problems...I converted 1:5 and was making big bank, why would I stop because of a tread I saw when personally they were the perfect sponser...were the perfect sponser until June 2003 that is

Insite owe me like $500 since last august. They still have a few of my links dotted aroudn the place that i never pulled out. Prior to that I also had been paid reguarly (altho i had to request fedex every time).

i converted 1:4 - 1:6 with them got some checks then one day got an email my account was on administrative hold for some reason so i waited and nothing so i started emailing got a reply saying that a bunch of different ips signed up under the same email addy ok so what i get paid for 1 email addy the system should pick it up and reject the email then get email saying the opposite then get another email for another reason and i lost my few hundred bucks fuck insite i do not see how candidclicks is making their cash off them

they've owed me god i dont even know anymore, since prolly late 2002

That's because it doesn't look like they are shaving for sure.

if you look at the stats, you can see where there are 2 columns for hits showed, 1 for their internal stats and i 1showed the affiliate. and then, look at the last columns: Ratio and Affiliate Sees Ratio.

Also, '% saved sales' and '% saved clicks'

pretty cut and clear to me.

Dude, I'm the first to bitch about a thieving sponsor shaving but it doesn't look that way to me. Here's what I see

Clicks: (clicks including all sponsor links inside, your clicks, popups, etc)
Aff Clicks: (only clicks to your actual code)
Sales: (total number of sales, popups and all)
Aff Sales: (sales you should get credit for)
Ratio: (overall ratio)
Aff Sees Ratio: (ratio only of signups they agree to pay you on)

heh - well if i misread what they are presenting in their stats, my bad - though i still think the 'saved clicks' and 'saved sales' seems to speak pretty loudly.

regardless of that, they still owe tons of people tons of legitimately earned $ which sucks. they should either pay up or close up shop. there have to be other webmasters trying them out for the first time and aren't getting paid....let this be a warning to them.
