When did "shit" become acceptable language on TV?
 

I just heard "shit" on A&E's series, Airplane and heard it on Smallville as well as one other show that I can't remember. When did "shit" become a term that is acceptable to air on anything other than HBO, Skinemax, etc... ?

whatever happend to you ? Last i remember gfy gave you a shit load of money and then you came back about a month ago and went about your normal self

I know their was an episode of South Park where they said it about 150 times.

It was on a recent one with Lex in the psycho ward. Season 3 ep 9 I believe. He was talking to that kid that used to play on Home Improvement. I downloaded the episode and played it back twice...I could've sworn he said "shit" (it fit with his demeanor and where in the sentence he was saying it) but my ears could've been playing tricks on me.

I'm really behind on getting the submissions into queue so that's why sometimes it won't accept submissions...we've got about 2100 links waiting to be reviewed....hopefully it'll be all sorted out soon.
