I enjoy it, and although I still get a lot of work done during the day, I find myself reading this place a bit too much.

Pay 200 galleries + content in advance to a designer that decided to fuck me over.

At first I found gfy to be a waste of time but now that I have meet a grip of people I have made alot of money because of this message board

you have to be careful when you become partners with people.

I closed my first paysite back in 1997-8 because I didn't know enough.. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid, mistake..

started out with a paysite and the content providers "personal porn" - anyone remember them? they used to provide, among a lot of others, the live jill kelly porn star house cam shows called "wired pink", which converted like mad. did all the design, etc., and then a few months later, they blew out. switched to pay sites (which another webmaster advised me to do in the first place, but i didn't listen), and then started making $$$.

Had a similar experience, live and learn.

Invested some serious money in a moron who's primary objective is to smoke weed every fucking day.

the only thing I regret I didn't begun working in biz in 1997 but only in 2001 :feels-hot

Letting T1 costs hold us back from completing our Voyeur Cam program/site almost a year before Voyeur Dorm launched. Had the girls and everything. T1's were just too expensive and re-broadcasters were non-existant. Now look Candid is one of the biggest companies.

I've bought some bad traffic...I finally figured out if traffic people were selling converted so great they wouldnt be selling it they would just send it to sponsers themselves..

bad choice in a couple of partners/friends

about once a month i forget to put ads on tgp galleries.. and submit them anyways.

Spending '97 and part of '98 thinking I would just do this for pocket money because I didn't think there was any real money in it. Had I not been a moron I would have worked a lot harder back then.

Spending thousends of dollars on useless advertising (non-adult).

Buying shitty traffic.

Trusting the wrong person and pay via western union

But you learn from that

giving a designjob out to a company thats has 12 days left to refund the $1000 downpayment before he gets a note from our company lawyer that all his belongings will be taken and bank account will be frozen
