yes excellent film, also I just got the first season of la femme nikita the tv series for christmas and it kicks ass too

I have the director's cut and I think it's called Leon, either way the directors cut is better than the professional version. Gary Oldman kicks ass in that movie! I love the part where he shoots at the old lady and tells her to go back inside

No idea, but I'm going to add both the European and American market versions to my collection.

okay here is the deal:

in some countries it was called (mostly Europe) Léon, posters hangs above my bed

other countries like the US, they called it The Professional, basically no diffence

the longer cut is called 'Leon: version integrale' or version internationale or Leon - The Professional (Uncut International Version), it was released in France, funny thing is you can only get it in region 1

I've got both version and my opinion: get both

longer version is called "Leon - The Professional (Uncut International Version)"

you have to look for the words uncut or international version, not alone "Léon"
