Pretty impressed with my camera
I've had it for a while but I was just taking some pictures of the famous Pookie for some of my friends and while I was shrinking it down in Photoshop I was looking at the quality. I had it on the highest setting. First pic is the one brought down for web viewing and the 2nd pic is a cropped out piece from the original, not resized. Can see every little hair, pretty cool. It's a Rebel Digital in case you wondered.

Of course they are all shrunk down around 100k for quick viewing. I was trying to use the light available for most, used the cameras flash a couple times (I don't like to use the cameras flash), and blinded the hell out of people with my off camera flash for just a few. Had it set to take the smallest file also. The pics of my dog were set on the highest. |
Macro lens?

I use a g4 mac, so I am always in the apple store and they display it. I always end up playing with it :) You have to have a damn large card though, right? Do you leave it at 6 pixels? |
laura,
one day I'll be able to take pics like that with my Rebel... first I gotta figure out how to use the damn thing.. ;) |
very nice and sharp...gotta say i don't think my digital camera takes pics that clean looking.
