Anyone getting this call...
From Experian wanting to "update business information" and asking a bunch of questions about domains?
They were asking me about some dumb nothing domain I use to goof off with. I told them I'm not answering anything and they got all mad at me and kept asking the same things over and over and trying to verify if I was the owner. I asked her what she was wearing and they hung up :( |

sounds like a scam maybe

i sometimes gets calls like that - usually ends up to be hosting companies.
|
I never answer my phone, or return calls. My VM is always full.

Experian is a credit reporting agency, they would have no reason (or shouldn't) calling you about domains. Next time just hang up without arguing.

im doing that tomorrow for my regular telemarketers call

I keep getting those "Hi, this is Shok. Show me your tits." calls. This has been going on for over 5 years. Amazing how some people don't understand "NO"! :eek2
|
it's more annoying when i get crap in the mail about my domains, and how i need to renew with some bullshit registrar for like $30 billllllliiioooonnn per year or something stupid.
i was going to call them and bitch them out for sending me that shit, but i decided it wasn't worth it. if they do it again, they're hearing from me. but, it got to the point on my home phone that i usually just plain ignored it, turned off the ringer. even pulled the answering machine, only checked the caller id every few days. then i got rid of it, and just use my cell. much better that way :thumbsup |
Be careful, they are watching U ;-):Graucho

i didn't get this call, but an other one....
3 days ago i was at a dinner at an friends place with 8 other peoples, right after we started eating, my cellphone rang. i picked it up, but couldn't say much, i just told them to mail me what he has to tell. most important point is i don't speak a good english, even if i understand all. but one thing i know for sure, i won't use this sponsor ever, no matter what he has to offer. it's the first time i experienced an sponsor-call (they got the number from whois) he mailed me at the same evening, and even tried to call 5 more times the last few days, but i never picked it up anymore. some peoples.... |
