How many times in an hour do you check your email?
 

I have a quick trigger finger, i find myself checking my email at least 10-15 times an hour if not more.

I only check mine a couple of times an hour. However, the virus kind of forces me to have to check more often just so I am not burried in extra mail.

Mailwasher Pro runs in my system tray and auto checks every 60 seconds. If something comes in from a domain that's on the blacklist, it's auto-bounced and deleted from the server without me ever seeing it. If it's legit, the icon flashes telling me I got new mail. From there I can open Outlook and down it.

With this setup, I never have to think about checking mail, I get any new mail virtually instantly, and the crap, junk, & spam is taken care of without me even expending energy to do it.

my email checks for new messages every 5 minutes...I don't miss a thing.

It's being checked automatically so I just download new mail when there is new mail.

I usually check my email about 2 times an hour. :)

I always have outlook open, any time any mail comes in I get that beep and little icon in the system tray so I pop it open.

i'm about the same... i have OE set to check mail every 3 minutes. OE is open damn near 24/7

lately its less and less. hate having to wade thru the junk mail

I don't check it very often, only if I have submitted galleries or I am expecting something.

My email client is open all the time. It's the first window in the task bar and auto starts at startup.

Lately I rarely consciencely run e-mail in the background. Once I launch it it usually runs until reboot or accidental double-click on the X:) If I'm having an e-mail exchange I'll check every few minutes after sending my last reply otherwise it checks every 30 minutes. I found it easier to filter in what I want than to worry about everything else so I gave up the inbox. I check my friends/family & business folders a few times a day and dump out the other folders once a week or so.

well its just deliverd to my outlook but i guess every 5 mins LOVE looking at those [email protected] emails hehe

i set outlook express to check every minute.

i set Apple's Mail program to check every 3 minutes.

have Eudora set to check every 15 minutes

During the virus shit here I think I check like once every 5 minutes, if I only do it like once or twice per hour the weeding gets extremely annoying.

Between biff on my box and my Blackberry, I don't check email, it notifies me.

How often do I deal with it? Porbably 10 to 15 times an hour. It's polite to get back to people as soon as possible.
