Customer Cancellations with CCBill

I'm rather stunned at how high the customer cancellations have been with CCBill in the last 2 weeks.

Someone asked if CCBill had sent out the old "Do you want to cancel" email to the clients, and CCBill said no.

So I know people get their credit card bills about this time of the year for Xmas..but that usually results in people either getting declined with they sign up, or not re-newing. I've never seen it this high ever for customer cancellations.

Today in the first news batch I got from CCBill when I logged on for the first time, over 60% of the "info" were customer cancellations. Am I the only person experiencing this phenom or have my customers suddenly just started hating my sites?

dont think its higher maybe you changed something bout your sites ? a lot of things can influence that, before xmas and after xmas, new year (everyone looking in their wallets thinking omg where did my $$$ go hehe) anyhow no... some sites have a higher can rate then others most of our members stay at least 3 months...

ive noticed something with our ccbill signups the past two weeks..seems less are recurring from tials than normal...our update schedule is even better than normal now too...just one of those things i think...who knows
We added epoch as a precautionary measure this week

How long have you processed with CCBill?

Observing 02-01-2004 04:47 PM

This trend started 3 months ago, I mailed ccbill about it because I was seeing a dropout percentage overnight that I hadn't seen in 2 years. For 2 years retention kept going up each and every month, then suddenly dropped dramatically and stayed there.
They just told me nothing had changed at all but I find it weird that shortly after their whole setup changed and now more and more people are bringing this up.
I dunno, I doubt ccbill are going anywhere, even if epoch are gaining on them.

Higher than Ever Here :thumbsup

*BUMPING* this... Retention is down the crapper.

I noticed that my CCBill rebills were in the toilet for January. I know that CCBill had some problems with their new stats area so I sent them an email, asking about the low rebills.

I basically asked them for "confirmation" that the customers who had not been rebilled had indeed cancelled.

Their response was..."yes..they cancellled"

That was it...nothing more. I was a bit put off...and now I trust CCBill less than ever.

hmmmmm more ppl stepping up here? Already quite a few who have seen their retention go to hell.
