NFL Ban's Superbowl Parties
NFL Ban's Super Bowl Parties
yahoo sux LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Some of Las Vegas' biggest hotel-casinos are canceling Super Bowl parties and making refunds to thousands of guests after the NFL threatened legal action against those broadcasting the title game on big-screen TVs. Several hotels received letters last week informing them their parties were ``unauthorized use of NFL intellectual property.'' NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league only recently became aware of large parties planned in Las Vegas and elsewhere around the country. |
I heard watching the game on anything larger than a 55" TV is copyright violation.
I guess my home theater is going to be dark today, I don't want to get busted. |
I have to rig my home theater up as it only plays dvds.
I have to use a VCR as a tuner again for the crappy cable signal. |
Actually.
the part that the NFL has a problem with is charging people to come watch the superbowl.. |
i'm off to a party where theres going to be over 100 people watching the game............ooooh no i'm going to become a criminal:BangBang:
