I'll re-qualify. I'm not a HUGE fan of horror, but I do watch horror flicks. The reason I say I'm not a huge fan is that most horror flicks from the past 20 years simply aren't all that scarey. The surprise cat jumping through the fucking window has been done so many times it's become cliche. Straight-up gore hacking mass murder is way overdone too. the new one is okay if youre into "Scream" style horror. I bought it to compare.
the old is far superior, I watched it last week.
I have the 3d version with glasses that is digitized from the drive-in reel so it has the "put on your ghost viewer" signs during the movie. the old silver screen sexiness cant be compared to thirteenghosts of the new, but so is all remakes. i prefer the old...
great flick.
all i watch is horror dvds, nothing else.
