Ccbil or Ibill?

who would you use if you have a pay site?

doober 01-31-2004 09:49 PM

ccbill will prolly give you less headaches and more support

:2 cents:

Murphy_Dog 01-31-2004 09:50 PM

Yeah.. CCBill, I pretty much send traffic to programs that use ccbill exclusively.

johnny1 01-31-2004 10:19 PM

with me ... sales and rebills are great!! but a buddy of mine never does well with Cc.

imageman 01-31-2004 10:25 PM

100% CCbill or Epoch . Ibill is a waste of your valuable time

foolio 02-01-2004 12:16 AM

Oliver Klozov 02-01-2004 12:41 AM

I can't believe that someone still has to ask!

CCBILL!

IBILL sucks and will be nothing but trouble for you

Just do a search on GFY for IBILL you will learn

lexr 02-01-2004 12:58 AM

CCBill, definitely.

robert1968 02-01-2004 01:18 AM

Who is Ibill?

SGS 02-01-2004 02:24 AM

CCBill are #1 :2 cents:

mardigras 02-01-2004 02:25 AM

CCBill if you run a site. They both need an online way for webmasters to keep it down to 1 account.

graphicsbytia 02-01-2004 04:20 AM

CCBill rocks

After being an affiliate when it came time to have our own affiliate program there was no question.. CCBill was the only answer

Alex Xe 02-01-2004 04:57 AM

CCbill work better now.

Validus 02-01-2004 05:10 AM

Although I am sure that IBill has it upsides, I have not been able to find them. I would suggest you check out CCBill. They are always there in case you got questions.

Also check out money bookers (see sig) they also have a good system, similar to paypal, and widely used.

Theo 02-01-2004 05:27 AM

ccbill

okdesign 02-01-2004 05:45 AM

ccbill rocks! :winkwink:

ldinternet 02-01-2004 06:00 AM

iBill if you plan to promote the site by yoursef, and only by yourself.

CCBill if you'll be looking for affiliates.

Paparazzi 02-01-2004 06:06 AM

ccbill :thumbsup

Odin 02-01-2004 06:10 AM

Because with IBILL you will have more signups you mean? (less scrubbing or whatever the reason is)

have used both for years, each company has it own benefits.

seems to me that ibill holds its recurring better than ccbill, and they also have web900 which ccbill does not.

ccbill has better customer support.

but don't rule out ibill completely, they pickup sales that you won't get with ccbill.

if you were only going to use ONE processor, yes it would be ccbill, if you don't want to leave ANY money on the table you must use multiple processors, and not just ccbill and ibill.

Mistress 02-01-2004 09:28 AM

i am using iBill for 6 years by now and never met any single problem with it...:thumbsup

...maybe we are talking about different iBill though :glugglug

PS. iBill always respond to my emails in 20-30 minutes.

powerbubba 02-01-2004 10:30 AM

I currently use ibill but wish we had used ccbill. I've had some serious attitude issues with ibill, not only support, at one point having our assigned rep (he's left) suggested we go to newsgroups and get our content that way.

During the initial Visa fees, every processor was willing to let you earn back the fee (essentially meaning they'll pay it, not you), only ibill, to my knowledge, refused to do this.

We actually set ourselves up with ccbill but never implemented it. The only bad experience (only experience?) is when they sent out a mass email about our need to change our passwords, just basically stating it should be our general policy and really urged us to do this. I called them to get more info and basically got the same spiel. Only later did I learn that an employee of theirs had stolen a bunch of passwords. It would have been much better if they simply said this upfront.

Initially you may get more sign ups with Ibill, but you wait until the refunds start rolling in. Overall CCbill will make you much more money with far fewer refunds and great customer service, ( Ibill has no customer service to speak of ). If you are in this business for the long haul and want to work with a professional company CCbill is the only option worth considering. "And you can take that to the bank "

Morgan 02-01-2004 10:31 AM

ccbill

Observing 02-01-2004 10:36 AM

There is NO doubt that ccbill is a much much better alternative than ibill. Epoch will also give you less problems.

NBDesign 02-01-2004 10:38 AM

I only use the best..... CCBill :thumbsup

Ain't no one better.

xxxdesign-net 02-01-2004 10:39 AM

Customers cant cancel before 24h with Ibill! More rebills!

or if you use something like MPA with them

Cindyff 02-01-2004 10:41 AM

Its almost unanimous!! CCbill stands out as the clear choice of professional webmasters. Imageman is correct, Ibill may have a lower scrub rate and allow more sign ups but eventually they come back to bite you in the ass by way of refunds. I even got an e-mail from one of our sponsors Friday who is requesting all affiliates swap from Ibill to CCbill as soon as possible, because of high refunds.

can someone explain this further? ibill also has a revshare, how is ccbill's different?

Donny 02-01-2004 10:48 AM

That depends on how you want your email box to look.

For example, let's say you want it to look something like this:

http://www.donovanphillips.com/images/referrals.jpg

In that case, you'd want to use CCBill. How many times have you seen threads posted: "Spam me with CCBill sponsors" vs. "Spam me with iBill sponsors" ??

The choice is clear. CCBill is the only way to go.

CCBill s very suitable for affilates, because they can merge their accounts and get one payment every week, if iBill will have the same feature, they will be the best!

iBill would need a LOT more than that to be the best.

Ibill = more money

Ibill has no support? Change that to HAD. Johnny, you are well aware that Ibill were the only ones who readily answerd our questions. You also forgot to mention that we are going UK. Im willing to bet within ONE year, Ibill will be the ONLY 3rd party left for UK.
