Do you ever talk to yourself?
 

Many people here live along and work for 12 - 16 hours a day without talking to too many people (except here and icq etc...)
My question is do you ever talk to yourself?

I talk to my cat..does that make me a weirdo?

Its really funny..when I talk to her she always answers back..Its like she knows I'm trying to have a conversation with her..Yes its weird but I get lonely :(

i talk to myself all the time. normally when i am trouble shooting a problem or when i am bouncing ideas off myself before i talk to someone else about them.

I've always talked to my dog, even back when I had a very public job and interacted with 200 people a day, I'd come home and yak it up with him.


He's a damn good listener.

Never thought of that.. I talk to the dogs when necessary only and I am happy when the phone is silent for a while. And when I can't go out, my friends come and visit me.

Funny you should mention this. Someone just a couple days ago mentioned that I frequently seem to be talking to myself. I don't exactly have conversations with myself, but I do think outloud when people aren't here.

Other than the occasional "Damn" when I do break something I normally reserve conversation for others, human or dogs. Mind you I don't talk things over with the dog LOL, it's more like "you are such a good little boy, you love mommy don't you". Yes, I do consider myself mommy to the pets, which might make me insane but I have never said that I wasn't.

Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes it's the only intelligent conversation I get. :(

Yep, sometimes. Then the another guy in my head answers. They start disputing hardly until I'm losing all patience and tell them to shut the fuck up. And then the blissful silence coming in my head..

I talk to myself a lot especially when programming, ppl will ask me "what you say?" and I'll just say I was talking to my self, no big deal.
