Domain buying addiction...
 

Anybody else got it? I just can't stop buying fucking domain...
I just don't have the time to do anything about them...
I just bought a not so shabby dating domain with PR 4 and yahoo directory listing for $7.95, and I aint got the time to do something with it.

What should I do with these domains until I get time to do something with them? is there any searchpage or something that pays any?

You need to either get yourself a search engine porthole or develop the sites the names are all a liablitiy unless they are working for you.

They sell, but not for crazy amounts. I've sold a few for around 150+. Not bad for a 10 dollar investment and a few hours.

Afternic is not as good as it used to be :(
It was bought out a couple years ago and they took out some of the cool features.

I have that same problem. If anything just use them to host silly shit.

Good domains sell for lots of $$$ . There is no shortage of money for good domains - there is a shortage of good domains on the market.

I just sold a non-adult domain last week for $1800. They approached me, it wasn't on the market. I had been sitting on it for a few years, it was completely undeveloped. It was two long words put together - 16 letters plus the .com!

If the name is good, it is worth $ to somebody somewhere.

We spent few hundred grands this week buying domains and also sold for about 200k in the last three days.

I have bought some good names, made cool logos, and sold them on ebay for $100s:2 cents:

I've been on a binge lately. I've spent nearly 200,000 dollars in January on domain names.

Crazyness. All were already bought? Or were there brand new ones in there too.

I've got a few like that...

Got a "great idea" out at the bar and regged the domain as soon as I got home. I think I'll just let these expire.

I very rarely register a domain. I only go for the premium ones.

Funny how some buy tons of domain names, and make a killing developing those sites, while others focus on just a handful domains and make a killing as well.

Seems to be working out both ways just fine.

The worst is when you wake up with the wacky bills, and half of the domains were misspelld

yeah, that sucks, I just renew them all in December even if they still have a ways to go, so I can write them off that years taxes.

Twice a year prune your inventory. Keep the performers dump the rest for a few bucks to get your money back.

It's always a numbers game.
Do this with thousands of names for few years and you get a GREAT portfolio.

I ain't got so many yet but I currently buy like 5-20 a day, but since I'm not really into the domainbiz....

I only buy expired at the moment so my numbers are not really that high, but it's still a fucking waste of money when you are not doing something with them.

Guess I'll have to setup some page to get something out of the traffic. I get a bunch of typins for some domains but I barely do more than count them at the moment.
Yeah, true. I'll have to work abit harder to get the most out of the domains while I'm building it up though.
