Does Rich Dad Exist???

Is it all a made up fantasy to get the point across or did he exist... read the first one now reading the investment one but i just can't believe this guy said these things and he remembers everything from waaaay back then...

I agree the first one was really inspiring and I agreed and learnt from it.... I find it hard to read on when I believe to me he is just making it up.... would have prefered what he considers to be the lessons and then just spelt them out without all the BS. Maybe I am wrong...

Reading the investment one by the way.

The whole book is bullshit. It's like "millionaire mind." Just a colleciton of andedotail information that is inconsistent.

It's only helping him make a bit more cash...

Actually, Robert Kiyosaki has made most of his money from selling his books, not investments. But I've read his books and they helped me out. It's kinda like 'how to get your financial situation straight for dummies'. His financial advisor is a guy name Dolf Laroos (sp).

Whether or not its true, I don't know.

yeah i wondered that also, so far gave me no info on how he makes his money, seems it is jsut his books, it is motivating but i agree many parts to contradict each other.

Just read this:

John T. Reed's analysis of Robert T. Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad ...

Cuts right to the chase about this guy.

yep, totally lacking in substance, just a motivational speaker. You will find nothing specific. I read the rich dad poor dad book and then his investment book and then his real estate book and ALL of them are empty and full of shit. Took me that long to convince myself that there was nothing there. I just couldnt' believe that millions would buy these books if there was nothing there.

His books suck for info, ok if you need motivation, but not even good at that. Personally I think its just a hype job.

Thumbs Down!

awesome info. I knew this guy was full of shit.

I hope somebody makes something similar for the millionaire mind guy. But the millionaire mind guy never claimed to be highly succesful himself.

He had shit like

"millionaires cut their own coupons etc..."

Nevermind the fact that if your time is worth 2,000 U.S. an hour cutting out 25 cent coupons is losing you money (if your object was to try to save--or even doing your own shopping) If you want to look at it as purely a rational excercise.

gornyhuy....
Yeah, I know what you mean...when i was 15 I ready just about every real estate "no money down" book in the public library.

Most of the books are written by hucksters, who give advice that is impossible to use.
