I remember being 17 and listening to a couple of local people talking about the income tax they had to pay.

One was a commerical fisherman, and he was winning about having to pay $20,000 in income tax, and the other was a senior air canada pilot. The pilot quietly asked the fisherman what kind of net income he had to have to pay $20k, and he said about $60K. The pilot paused, and then murmered, $60K, I paid that in taxes last year.

I think that it is none of my business and that every second I spend worrying about what someone else is making I am taking away from the time I could be earning my own.

usually it's the people who don't make what they want you to THINK they make that post about their income or other peope's income.

My friends sister knows a pilot. He has been doing so for over 10 years and is making around £150,000 per year.

his costs aren't that high as a % of his revenues. shouldn't be anyway.
