You are definately guilted into using it. They have all kinds of rules in the alpine areas. If you piss in the bushes and on the ground alot the animals dig up the soil trying to lick the salt out of the piss..same with leaving garbage. When they dig up the soil the destroy the fragile ecosystem up there. Some of these plants take over 100 years to regenerate themselves. So to protect the area , most of the people follow the guidleines so that we all may enjoy it for many years to come . :thumbsup

Wasnt too bad up there in September..we had 50 mile an hour winds and a snowstorm one night. The winds are wicked in that area.. you could hear it coming and about 5 minutes later it would hit and sound like a freight train. The whole area consists of huge granite boulders. I was just happy to have my tent still standing that morning .

The area is now probably buried in 300 inches of snow:thumbsup

Now the real trick is in how they dump these shitholes a few times a year.

They bring in helicopters and hook up the huge shitbags that are inside of these compost toliets and airlift them out of the area.

If you happen to be one of the lucky ones to witness it...I hear its quite a site.
