thanks to jasmine i found a site where you can foster/adopt pets. i found a dog online and adopted him. its a pit bull/lab mix. here is the dog, my first pet since i moved out.

i didnt adopt it yet, i'm just fostering it. if i like it im going to adopt it (most likely) but it takes a long time to adopt a pit bull.

i just typed in my zip code and looked at dogs to see what kind i wanted. then you call the # and you can find a pet rescue place. i dont know if all of them do it but the one here has adoption day every saturday and you can go look at them and pick one out.

Good to hear, many dogs get put down because they can't find them homes.

thanks. nice site. the place i got my dog from is actually on the list. i actually tried getting a different dog thats on that site but i live in detroit and he was taken from my neighborhood, so they didnt want him going back to the same area.
