Bleech, never understand why dogs will eat their own poop sometimes. happens mostly in the winter but yeech!!

Usually it is because they are lacking something in their diet.

I think our dogs eat better than I do, and they poop less than most dog and I have never seen them eat it...

Some dogs just get a kick out of eating shit. I took my dogs to a trainer and she said sometimes they get bored and they enjoy playing with their shit. Disgusting if you ask me.

My dog eats grass sometimes.

My dogs do during winter on occasion. It's usually the female beagle though the male does on occasion too.


The grass isn't unusual for a dog to eat when they have an upset stomach.

It can be a bad habit my one Rott used to do this when he was a pup but luckily he stopped and my other doesn't bother.
