CCBill Rebills

Has something changed with CCBill and rebills? Are they sending out mails now telling the surfer he will get rebilled and put the cancel link in the same mail or something?

Have had lots (well for us anyway :winkwink: ) of active surfers that has cancelled their subscriptions right before the rebill in the last couple of days.

we have not started doing this, if you contact client support and give them a sampling of the cancelations, they can give you the specific reasons for a few of them...to give you a better idea of what is going on

if you need my help with this, let me know

What i have seen as paysite owner using ccbill (and others). Seems like there are periods when alot people look over their economy or something and i get alot cancelations for longtime members also.

Use to be around 1/2 year mid summer and after xmas.

My :2 cents:

I have seen the same thing in the past week - Twice the amount of Cancellations and Expirations and half the amount of Sign-ups. It is very strange.

it is my understanding that tax forms are to be sent out by the end of January; so people might be going through their financial records in anticipation of filing their tax returns?

Don't forget that rebills stop when a member's card expires.
I know that this has blindsided a lot of webmasters, as their long term, loyal members suddenly stop rebilling.

rigrunner 01-31-2004 10:09 AM

so you can actually see why people cancel on CCBill?
