Las Vegas Webmaster Get-Together Tonight
 

Anyone wanting to attend the unofficial Las Vegas Webmaster Get-Together tonight, we're getting together for a couple beers and some tunes by Full Metal Jacket (an 80's hairband cover band) at Sunset Station in Henderson.

We're meeting at around 10pm in the middle bar (near the blackjack tables).

For anyone coming into town for Superbowl Sunday, if you're in town in time, drop by.

For those who don't know where it is, Sunset Station is in Henderson, just west of 95 and Sunset Road.

So come on out for beers, hair metal and light networking.

I would love to go but I already have a gathering underway. Next time though!

hehe its always funny when I see people come in from france and germany for internext so we can network, but people living in las vegas think its a mortal sin to drive from summerlin to eastern :)

I'm going from north las vegas (north of craig) to durango / flamingo THEN out there, so no complaining about the drive

Had a Webmaster get together lastnight in St. Louis. There were two of us and I had to help gramps with his walker on the ice.

We're meeting at 10pm at the center bar

ludedude and I are hitting there about 8:30 to do some dinner beforehand

I'll be easy to spot, just look for the red Jeff Gordon jacket (fuckoff, I got the jacket for free in a bowling league ;-)))

hmm, maybe for a trifecta, we'll do one at Boiulder Station for the hard rock 80's coverband Yellow Brick Road (the dude does an insanely accurate Steven Tyler)

I decided not to go to Arizona and just stay here and work all weekend - so I'll be there, I'm bringing PlayGirl too.

I'll wear my long sleeve SexxxyChat shirt, PlayGirl will wear my GFY shirt.

looks like i'm not going to make it, got no way to finish this before 10pm and I just cant quit in the middle... one of those things that I'll never get done if I stop working on it

It was a pleasure to meet the both of you. Shortly after you left we found Full Metal Jacket was indeed playing (there was a sign stating that singer from Manhattten Transfer was performing, but that was earlier) so we had some 80's throwback memories...

...and we learned something...Whitesnake is the musical inspiration for EVERYONE even the Steve Miller Band ;-)

Anyways, great meeting you, we'll have to do it again sometime.

I took my jacket off because it was getting hot (and there were a couple rednecks threatening my personal being due to having a Jeff Gordon jacket on (what the fuck? LOL) I didn't feel like another assualt charge, so let it lie and played it off...hehehe

It's all good, me and PlayGirl walked around the circle bar - but didn't see anyone matching the description - Full Metal Jacket was already playing, but they wouldn't let PlayGirl in because she's 18.

We just went to Hooters instead, had a really hot waitress - we both enjoyed staring at her rack.

Maybe next time.
