Well today I just made a deal on a couple of major components
for Strongbox Extreme Performance Edition.
Many of you are familiar with Strongbox, which replaces the
old, purposefully weak username/password approach to
protecting your site. Strongbox Extreme Performance Edition
is the version for EXTREMELY high traffic sites or site clusters.
Designed to process 10,000 hits per second without a hiccup,
SEPE will be the absolute state of the art in security.
Today I made arrangements to procure the backend processing
daemon that will analyze the traffic patterns within a site cluster
and the ad hoc network engine that will communicate with remote
clusters to stay abreast of the latest attack patterns throughout
the net, such as any proxies that are being used for attacks.
I can't wait to start beta testing the system in a week or two.
Also I'm excited because the standard version of Strongbox will
be able to communicate with the SEPE network nodes to stay
abreast of the latest proxies and other relevant data.
