Everytime I see footage of the bangkok streets, I see everyone riding little scooters, whats up with that?

the worse traffic in the world... scooters are the only thing that can 100% completely circumvent traffic, ride between the cars who will take 1.5 hours to go 1.4 mile.... meanwhile the scooter guys take 1 minute or so... i dont have patience.... even seth regrets buying his S Class for this reason...
