Were considered popular in High School or not ?
Lets hear it guys and gals :) |
no.
|

|
Yes. I knew everybody and everybody knew me.
|

|
I can't remember :helpme
|
Nope ... was pretty much in my own little world in that time!
But everybody i knew that was popular at high school at that time are these days loosers big time! it it quite pityful |
Well liked but not really in the ultra popular group.
|
Popular - No.
Did i care - No. |
high school whats that.
|
yes i was a player
i even had a spread in the yearbook devoted to how cool i was |
Until mid-way through my Junior Year........
Maybe I should break out the Before and After Pics... that would explain it all. :1orglaugh |
Homecoming King, Prom King, and Captain of the Football team. I was popular but it's doing absolutely nothing for me now!
Got a shitload of poon in H.S. though! :thumbsup |
nobody knew me in 9th or 10th grade really, but i started getting popular in 11th grade... by 12th, everyone knew me for some of the shit i pulled, and i got voted most humorous
|
you only had to smoke and you were popluar in my old school, share your cigs and you were like fonz in happy days
|
had lots of friends in all groups..my highschool was very clicky so you had groups that hung out in different areas. i hung out in all areas. there were 1100 kids in my graduating class so you could have a great network of friends and still not get noticed
|
boneprones handshake was surely popular :1orglaugh
|
I am excited to be a senior next year.

Grade 12 i was cause i sang in a rock band. In the first 3 years i was a shit disturber. I think i made some fame from my anticks.
|
i'd say yes. i was Captain of the Cheerleading squad and editor of the yearbook. but i was a different person then. i like myself alot better now.
|
i got on well with the really popular kids and i had my own group of good mates. High school was a doss
|
I was a legend in my own mind and I'm still president of my fan club.

Popular: average
Only went a few days a week to school tho |
I was a cheerleader for a while then I got bored and quit in my senior year :)
|
I was popular, but with the unpopular crowd - Metalheads, band geeks, theater nerds, etc
Everyone in school knew me, but the jocks and preppies all hated me because I fought alot early in high school and beat up a lot of the baseball team (in separate incidents). My school was ALL about baseball. I was on the hockey team. |
In the middle. I was one of those academic kids that got along with geeks and cool kids. Overall, I didn't care then, and I certainly don't care now!
|
I got along with everyone from the jocks to the dopers and everyone in between. :thumbsup
Partied with with both the jocks and dopers and did stuff with the non-partiers too. :thumbsup |
yep
|
I would have to say yes.
|
high school memories - my best friend never shuts about shit from high school, we're both 40 - wtf, it's over 20 years ago and he's still going over crap that matters to nobody, the girls he's talking about are fat housewives or divorcees now, half the teachers are probably dead, more than half would be retired - but he still needs to go over and over people and events.
i was popular, but always kept my distance from them all, jocks, stoners, losers. I changed high schools in the middle, that isn't easy - first one i was a legend, second one i was new and had no past, and i liked it. |

I wasn't particularly "cool" ... but a lot of people knew me. many hated me - but that just made me want to piss them off more.
:thumbsup :thumbsup |
I was popular in some circles, but not in others. I was in a bunch of bands, so I was pretty well known. The girls seem to have a thing for sax players, so I lucked out pretty well :winkwink:
|
not until I burnt it down when I was 16 years old. I got expelled and got G.E.D that year but I still have people walk up in malls and such and want to shake my hand. Shocks my girlfriend but makes me wonder what my kids are going to think.
|
Nope. I was into computers and video games, making me decidedly unpopular.
|
I don't know if I was popular but I was definitely different then everybody else. Nobody at that time (15 years ago) wore baggy pants, hard core bands t-shirts etc....
|
That's a big NO for me. Everyone knew who I was but I didnt have many friends. I kinda kept to myself for that reason. All the girls hated me and I could never figure out why, but no guys ever asked me out on dates either.
Now all of a sudden, these guys I went to school with, are emailing me and IMing me, and telling how beautiful I am. All I could do is laugh and say "you should have though about that a few years ago". |
No but I had lots of friends. Everyone pretty much knew me. I had the same boyfriend for most of highschool and went to parties.
I wasn't in the super cool ultra popular girls cheerleader clique in highschool. Our cheerleaders were all beefy and looked like men. Being in that group made you look like a Mctard. |
No, untill I called ina bomb threat and got everyone the day off.
Then i was "Cool"... how fucking shallow people are. |
I was not the common popular girl back then, I was the popular freak that everyone wanted to hang around with cause they thought I was weirdly cool.
I had a shaved head, painted bright colors on good days..I wore all black. My best friend was gay (not accepted where i came from at the time) . I got invited to all the parties but I refused to go..I refused to let them put me in the year book . I refused to stand up and say the pledge of allegiance every morning (man, did this piss my teachers off) I was the first girl to go to prom in a full punk rock regalia..the poor principle wanted to have a heartattack. my senior year I went to prom only to find girls dressed punk instead of frilly and feminine...I was dressed in tye dyed hippy freak clothes..yeah I was popular in a way.:1orglaugh |

i was in the jock crowd for sure. i would have played 5 sports a year if i could have, but they limited it to 3. i was captain of all 3.
i had my hands in everything really, but i got along with all the clicks. i would say i was very well known and liked. I have never been the type to have issues and be bratty. |
High school sucked, by I ended up marrying a pretty babetastic chick who's also quite smart, so I did very well for myself.
|
Fuck no, I was a "nerd"
|
quite a bit i new alot of people
