so western union calls me..
and says some russian tried using my old CC number to trasfer 900$. He has my ss#, address phone number and all. Besides the fact I already have a new CC#, wtf can I do to protect myself and how on gods earth could he have gotten that info.

Identity theft is a major problem, I'd be worried if he has your SS#, he can likely get a new CC in your name.

Seriously, I'd talk to a lawyer and at very least inform your bank of this guy. Some serious Russian identity thief is not someone I'd take lightly. |
