When does a persistant guy become a fucking stalker?
 

This dude wont stop calling and text messaging me. Despite the fact i have not returned his calls or text messages in well over two weeks. I have only reallymet him twice ....


Does he cross the line when the calls come in three times a day and mid nite text messages at 3 am.?


The dude's a creep. I dont want to call him and tell him to fuck off cuz i really dont want to speak to him. I will have to keep sending to voicemail until he stops i guess.

Have a guy answer the phone or have a guy do your voicemail message for you. He'll think you have something new going on the side and might just go away.

Guys like that are just weird. Tell him he can't call like that because a) you use your phone for business or b) you aren't interested in him.

The text messaging at 3 am is just plain rude. Doesn't he understand you need to sleep?

That sounds scary as you would think he would have gotten the meassage loud and clear by now that you aren't interested.

Why is he calling you?.... as in..... what does he want? Does he want to do gay things to you? What did you initially talk to him about that he is now calling so much?

When he dosnt get the point after telling him numerous times

He is calling ( ia m assuming) cuz he wants to hang out or something. I met him at a xmas party and we had lunch a few weeks later. We talked about lots of things mainly traveling etc just getting to know eachother.

Send him a blunt text message... fuck off, stop calling me. If he keeps calling, get a guy friend to call him and tell him to leave you alone. If you don't have anyone I'm sure you could find some volunteers here. :)

Nah i wasn't stringing shit along. We kicked it TWICE together, no sex was involved, no romanticism just a few drinks and sushi.

I suppose i should not have been so vague and i should have just said "dude im not interested" but thats just not my personality. I felt bad at first... and now i fucked myself. :mad:

I can't tell you how many times me or close friends have had this happen to us. Depending on how gutsy you are, there are a lot of ways to deal with it. My roomie had me call her ex and tell him to fuck off. Another popular method that friends and I have used to deter stalker guys is to tell them you're a man-hating lesbian. You gotta add the man-hating part though or they'll get all these weird threesome fantasies. One last thing, it's my experience that telling a guy you have a boyfriend is NOT an effective deterent. They only see it as another hurdle to hop over.

Be very careful about guys like this they are fucked in the head normally. I had a friend that had this happen 2 her. She had to change her number and stuff to get him to stop calling her. He was married with kids too.

Also document everything or the cops can not do anything if it gets worse. You also should just tell the police if it keeps up.

Best way is really to just tell the guy you're not interested. If you don't want to tell him directly, leave him a voicemail and tell him that you're not interested in seeing him or make it casual like saying your not in a place to start a relationship or you're seeing someone else. This guy could just really like you (I can see why) and really be interested in you and if you let him down easy he'll likely go away. If not, the Jman approach should be used :)

I know its like he is seriously oblivious to the fact ihave not returned his calls. He seemed rather desperate to begin with which was why i stopped talking to him all together... he seemed too obsessed way too quickly!

How's this guy stalking you? People throw that term around to easily. Have you told this guy your not interested and to stop calling and text messaging you? If not then get too it. If the guy starts showing up at your work and home or you see his car following you around town then you have a stalker. Otherwise you just have yourself a smitten suitor who needs to be told the deal.

politely ask him to stop calling you the next time he calls, if he doesn't get the hint at that point, it may be time for a restraining order...if that doesnt work:

see, you made the mistake of leaving him a glimmer of hope that maybe just maybe he still has a chance to get into your pants. Just be blunt with the next guy. No need to beat around the bushes when you know that you don't like him; no need to be mean when you tell him though either. :)

Simply tell him you're not interested. Not returning calls is not a good way of telling people... some people are rather blind.
