Bush will be re-elected - Popular Vote anybody?

Does anybody really believe that Kerry or Dean can beat a Multi Millionare with ties to the Bin-Laden family? He weaseled out of the Enron Disaster and pushed the Patriot Act thru liberal America.

They are either going to run out of money or will be shut down in the Bible Belt. Bush has the Bible thumbing group in his back pocket.

Kerry and Dean are both liberal and open minded, however in order to get America out of dept they have to raise taxes. The taxcut we received put the US into even more poverty.

There are no popular votes in the US, so even if the regular Joes go running to the polls and vote Democrats the popular vote doesn't count for anything.

Can somebody explain that to me? I just don't get it.

Read Michael Moores Book "Dude where is my country" its an eyeopener. It's very scary out there.

Are you ready for another 4 years of Cesar Bush and Clones.

G O D help us all!

StuartD 01-28-2004 05:05 PM

He never won the popular vote the first time.

Digipimp 01-28-2004 05:06 PM

Those of you that believe the tax cut put the US into major debt and caused the economy problems are out of your fucking mind! I hate George Bush and the rest of the republicrats in DC but tax cuts are a good thing. As a matter of fact everyone that pays taxes deserves a tax cut poor and rich alike, we need a flat tax rate for everyone. The government just needs to manage the tax money better not tax more.

George Bush may well win but don't bet on it yet, there are too many variables. The vote will work this way, all the democrats suck ass and so does Bush, but the country has time that we may get to the point where people decide to vote Bush out rather than voting any certain democrat in.

Yes...

please never use michael moore as an example. the guy is a lying and decieving fool. If you want the truth on the topics he talks about, look at the sources he quotes. Read the whole truth. Listen to the interviews that he disects to make people say what he wants them to say.

The person who wins the democtratic nod will have plenty of money to win the election, it will not come down to funding.

The electoral college, while it has its flaws, is a good system. Of course it is stupid that when more people wanted one man to be president and the other wins, it doesnt work. But that is not the way the system is supposed to work, and most of the time it doesn't. If you dont understand it, go here www.google.com and type in electoral college. If "regular Joe" runs to the polls and votes, no it doesnt count for as much as a popular vote would, but when regular "joe california" runs to the polls, it makes a big differnce.

Bush does not have the bible belt in his pocket.

Kerry will be the next president.

The names on that poster are 5 of the supreme court justices. The signifigance is that over half the justices are GOP nominated.

They are, if you don't want the National Government doing much in taking care of this country. You can't have better this and that and at the same time keep cutting taxes. Of course, that's Bush math or "fuzzy math" that Bush coined in the debates with Gore.

Not to mention that we keep borrowing against money we DON'T have since we have had those tax cuts. And we now have the largest deficit in the history of this country. And do we just think: "Oh, deficits are no big thing...why worry about that." Eventually the bill DOES come due, and SOMEONE..maybe your kids, WILL have to pay this bill.

So for those that say tax cuts are great and lets have more and lets make them permanent..don't bitch when 911 doesn't work or the interstate highways start falling apart, schools continue their decline, and health care coverage becomes a dream of impossibility..etc etc.

And eventually..all of you who are looking forward to their social security when they retire...better get ready for a bitter dose of reality and enjoy eating dog/cat food a lot!

Rich 01-28-2004 05:21 PM

Kerry could win, Edwards could win with Clark as vice pres, and Hillary Clinton could kick all their asses. Unfortunately Bush will not leave the Whitehouse unless he's impeached. People who turn a blind eye to the electronic voting machine scandal are nuts, do you really think he wants a messy stolen election like last time?

BobChezule 01-28-2004 05:24 PM

I believe it's a very simple thing. If the economy is robust come next November, then Bush will probably win. Americans really care about their pockets, most everything else is unimportant.

On the other hand, if the dems can get enough people out to the polls, Kerry has a chance.

69pornlinks 01-28-2004 05:27 PM

You must don't know about kerry if you think he's different than the bushes....ppl will vote for the lesser of two evils and still wind up with a bush:glugglug

Is this a politician? You quoted one line of everything I said and then adapted it to mean what you wanted it to mean. Did you read the rest of it where I said the problem is not tax cuts but rather irresonsible spending of the tax money. We can lower taxes for everyone that pays rich and poor alike and provide great services health care and all that shit if we just had people spending the money responsibly and sensibly.

Things you have to believe to be a Republican today.
1. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.

2. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

3. Government should relax regulation of Big Business and Big Money but crack down on individuals who use marijuana to relieve the pain of illness.

4. "Standing Tall" for America means firing your workers and moving their jobs to India.

5. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but >multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind >without regulation.

6. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

7. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

8. Group sex and drug use are degenerate sins unless you someday run for governor of California as a Republican.

9. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

10. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

11. HMOs and insurance companies have the interest of the public at heart.

12. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health care to all Americans is socialism.

13. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

14. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

15. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense. A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

16. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

17. The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

18. You support states' rights, which means Attorney General John Ashhahahahaha can tell states what local voter initiatives they have a right to adopt.

19. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the 1980s is irrelevant.

20. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

Got it in a forward!

Did anybody really read the Patriot Act. this thing is scary as hell.

Bush needs to go - But really who can beat him.

I am not hot on Kerry, he is just not a pretty face the average American will vote for. I personally like Dean, he has a sense of humor (did you see him on Comdey Central) he is not an idiot (Doctor Dean) and I like the idea that he is open minded towards gays, Pro-Choice, and freedom of speech.

However, most people don't see that, most are confortable with Bush, its not hitting home (YET). They see Tax Cuts, they see that we are a super power and want to be on a big pedestol. It's nerve wrecking.

I have talked to a lot of non porn friends regarding Bush, 90% tell me, oh, I vote for him again, he is teaching morals. When I bring up the fact that when their 14 year old daughter is raped and she cannot have an abortion, I get answers like "That's not going to happen"

I also get answers like "He is for family not for faggots" "He is for abstinence and not teen sex (like that's gonna stop those 16 year olds)" and that he is a deep religious man.

I am gonna throw up. How in the hell are the democrats going to win the president seat this year with America wanting to backwards and the few who are liberal nobody sees and hears. The only thing you hear and see for Bush are the bible thumping activist who think Bush is God!

It's scary out there America, you better get rid of your blinders and see what Bush is really doing or one day it will look like this

Story of Pizza Order in the year 2010

Operator: "Thank you for calling Pizza Hut. May I have your..."

Customer: "Hi, I'd like to order."

Operator: "May I have your NIDN first, sir?"

Customer: "My National ID Number, yeah, hold on, eh, it's 6102049998-45-54610."

Operator: "Thank you, Mr. Sheehan. I see you live at 1742 Meadowland Drive, and the phone number's 494-2366. Your office number over at Lincoln Insurance! is 745-2302 and your cell number's 266-2566. Which number are you calling from, sir?"

Customer: "Huh? I'm at home. Where d'ya get all this information?"

Operator: "We're wired into the system, sir."

Customer: (Sighs) "Oh, well, I'd like to order a couple of your All-Meat Special pizzas..."

Operator: "I don't think that's a good idea, sir."

Customer: "Whaddya mean?"

Operator: "Sir, your medical records indicate that you've got very high blood pressure and extremely high cholesterol. Your National Health Care provider won't allow such an unhealthy choice."

Customer: "What do you recommend, then?"

Operator: "You might try our low-fat Soybean Yogurt Pizza. I'm sure you'll like it"

Customer: "What makes you think I'd like something like that?"

Operator: "Well, you checked out 'Gourmet Soybean Recipes' from your local library last ! week, sir. That's why I made the suggestion."

Customer: "All right, all right. Give me two family-sized ones, then. What's the damage?"

Operator: "That should be plenty for you, your wife and your four kids, sir.

The 'damage,' as you put it, heh, heh, comes $49.99."

Customer: "Lemme give you my credit card number."

Operator: "I'm sorry sir, but I'm afraid you'll have to pay in cash. Your credit card balance is over its limit."

Customer: "I'll run over to the ATM and get some cash before your driver gets here."

Operator: "That won't work either, sir. Your checking account's overdrawn."

Customer: "Never mind. Just send the pizzas. I'll have the cash ready. How long will it take?"

Operator: "We're running a little behind, sir. It'll be about 45 minutes, sir. If you're in a hurry you might want to pick 'em up while you're out getting the cash, but carrying pizzas on a motorcycle can be a little awkward."

Customer: "How do you know I'm riding a bike?"

Operator: "It says here you're in arrears on your car payments, so your car got repo'ed. But your Harley's paid up, so I just assumed that you'd be using it."

Customer: "@#%/$@&?#!"

Operator: "I'd advise watching your language, sir. You've already got a July 2006 conviction for cussing out a cop."

Customer: (Speechless)

Operator: "Will there be anything else, sir?"

Customer: "No, nothing. oh, yeah, don't forget the two free liters of Coke your ad says I get with the pizzas."

Operator: "I'm sorry sir, but our ad's exclusionary clause prevents us from offering free soda to diabetics."

The amazing reality is the winner will be decided by the current news and scandals of October 2004. The Republican's are good at media manipulation and have a fat war chest so expect some horror stories to emerge.

I will spend my vote on who ever is running against Bush regardless but this will be a difficult run unless the media become far more honest then they have been throughout this term.

My guess is that the war and the economy will be really be the determining factor. If the war keeps going poorly he will be outta there. Likewise for the economy. If they are both going good, then unfortunately he will retain the President's Championship Belt.
