Okay, We had about an inch of snow on the streets yesturday.. Does it really justify driving literally 15mph.. I saw an SUV driving 20MPH on the highway.. and I saw about 10 plow trucks getting ready for work.. (total accumulation 4")..

In your area do people panic when it begins to flurry? Or am i just living around a bunch of retards

People just want to be safe. Yesterday, a car tried to pass me at about 25-30mph but ends up sliding and fishtailing into the side of the road.

People here do the same thing when it rains... Growing up in Florida, i'm a professional when it comes to driving in the rain so these Cali people really get on my nerves :)

Haha yeah it is funny, if the roads are very icy though it's a different story. Snow is usually not so bad.

Yeah, But there is a fine line between driving safe and just being a slow pain in the ass.

I drive fast when it rains or when its snowing as long as the snow feels like rain on the road, but yesterday when I was coming home at 11pm(ish) there was like 1-2" of accumulation on the highway, I was fishtailing and doing 25-35 the entire way home. Most people were too.

It isn't just you. People around here see a car infront of them, next to them on both sides and behind them on the roads and instantly go 5-20mph below the speed limit because they're scared. :(
