Mail to Earthlink.net
 

Been trying to send an email to a earthlink.net address and it keeps bounching worked ok yesteday.
Anybody else having trouble mailing to earthlink today..

the error message is :

Server Response: '450 earthlink.net backlog too large to queue [domain may be overloaded or down]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 450, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Probably has to do with that new virus.

haven't rec'd anything on my earthlink acct today, but no issues sending that i've noticed.

although their servers go up and down a little too often for my tastes, and i have issues sending attachments - but i think that's related to my isp..

Once upon a time in my life I worked for earthlink. When a new virus hits the net, they tend to shut of/retard some of their mail relay servers. I believe this is to help stop the rampant flow of the current virus, although they never actually told us why.

All the spam to my earthlink account is coming in just fine so far today. I do agree though any problems you may be seeing could be because of this new virus. Its being a real pain in the ass.

Earthlink e-mail isn't the best though I like their broadband service quite a bit.
