GIF animators needed!!!

What program is the most popular for creating Gif animations? Can you do it directly out of Photoshop?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

In your adobe directory you also should have imageready. It comes with photoshop.

I was told that I could use image ready to create the gifs but never opened it up to try. Thanks! :thumbsup
