I just got an email that came from your domain. Mailwasher had it flagged as a possible virus. This is the body of the email.

That's the big email virus that's going around. Mydoom or whatever it's called.

If you open the attachment, it'll send itself out to everyone in your address book and choose someone at random to show as the sender.

I've been getting these things all day :(

I noticed the increase in email viruses :(

The email addresses are spoofed (faked from the infected computer).

Heck I even had one from thehun.net this morning. I'm getting hundreds of the virus emails an hour..got Mailwasher set up to filter them and flag them to delete. I've even been sent some that say they are from me.

Funny - I got one of those from Sobegirl today!

what ever happened to sobegirl anyways? Is he still around on GFY under another nick?

Tried it KC.. after we talked about it. It became more cumbersome then just running the headers through Mailwasher.

I've had quite a few emails sent from strangers saying I sent them an infected email. Apparently it's a spoofing technique that's causing quite a few problems. Luckilly I've just blocked the subject line corresponding to these emails and it's saving me hours of mail deletions!

i am always amazed by the STUPIDITY of the people opening such attachments
