They rock! It got rid of all my spyware and other crap I had. There was one program I couldn't get rid of and I sent them the logs it produces and the fix was in their next update a few days later.

It's nice having a PC that is 100% bullshit free. I had to get rid of Kazaa though since they install the Gain shit on your PC when you install it along with that My Search Bar and who knows how much other shit. Fuck Kazaa for that reason.

I got rid of all of the bullshit by:
1. Uninstalling Kazaa
2. control+alt+delete and stopped all of my .exe files from running that I didn't need running.
3. Ran spyware nuker and it's all gone.

Just thought this could be useful info, especially to the newbies because I could have used this a long time ago.

You can get rid of your spyware yourself just by knowing your way around Windows :)

start>run>msconfig

in the 'startup' tab, disable anything other than windows services and other default progs that start with your pc. restart and delete the files you disabled.

i do this every couple of days and my machine stays virus/spyware- free.. if for some reason you don't have msconfig, search google and download the copy for your vers. of windows.

i guess that would work too but I'm much too busy for that. I'd rather click the scan button and then click erase the files. :thumbsup

No way. Warez is my friend, and if you can't work out how to scan files, and fix any quick problems to save 500$, you shouldn't be buying the product any way.

Do they have automatic updates like ad aware? I will check the program out since sometimes adaware doesn't seem to catch everything. Damn dialers and stuff sometimes :(

You don't have to uninstall Kazaa you just have to know how to
set it up. Not that shit thing Kazaalite++ either, that shit gets
banned from nodes by Sharman.

Kazaa 2.1.1 is that last version that your able to manupulate
with a special cd_clint.dll (the spyware engine). Sharman got
wise to the hack and versions after 2.1.1 won't run with a hack
nor will they run without the spyware.

I have a package...
Kazaa 2.1.0
Kazaa 2.1.1 update
cd_clint.dll (a hacked one)

You install Kazaa 2.1.0 then update with the Kazaa 2.1.1
then nuke the orig cd_clint.dll
win98/ME = c:\windows\system\cd_clint.dll
winXP= c:\windows\system32\cd_clint.dll
win2K=c:\winnt\system32\cd_clint.dll
then run Spybot and clean out all the spyware
then put the hacked cd_clint.dll in
c:\program files\kazaa\cd_clint.dll

No adds, no friggin' popups and full access to all the Sharman nodes.

I use AdAware and Spybot together... I try to avoid programs like SpywareNuker where it looks like a one-man show/scam.

Ad-Aware will fuck the Winsock (your Web connection) on a couple
of peticular spyware removals.
Spybot never fucks you up.
