ok, so I'm looking at airfare for the phoenix forum and since I'm a fat ass I like a business class/first class seat.


so I check travelosity and I see air canada has a flight with one layover - business class - for $1400 canadian - a great price.
not being to eager I check around and everyone else is about $2000 - the usual for a business class seat.

ok, i'm about to buy the air canada seat when I check the fine print - and it says business class not available on BOTH flights there and back but they're still willing to charge the inflated rate for a 3rd class seat - what the fuck???? if i choose choach - for the SAME FUCKING SEAT, it's $600.


so basically they'll charge almost triple so you can sit in the SAME FUCKING SEAT and say you paid more? UN FUCKING REAL


I'm going north west - at least a business class/firstclass seat with them means a wide ass business class/first class seat.

oh god just tried to book with north west on their website - and I can't. their form doesn't have the canadian provinces on the credit card application. ugggggggg

Well, I don't know if there are any direct flights to cancun... I think all planes have to land somewhere in Mexico and from there you get into a smaller plane to get to cancun (the airport over there is very small)... I've been there twice, and both times the smaller plane wasn't divided by class...

What I'm trying to say is: I think you'll end up on a coach seat no matter what, I think that Canadian air was the only one that informed about this though...

Then again, I might be wrong since I haven't been to Cancun in 3 years, the airport might have grown.... You should check this out...

American and America West both land 737s in Cancun and quite a few people land Airbus 319s, so you can get a decent sized plane into that airport no problem now. :)

That's also nothing new with the Air Canada thing Sleazy, I took a first class flight from Phx to Hawaii awhile back and the connecting flight to LAX didn't even have first class. No discount on the tickets at all...

been to cancun twice in the last 2 years and both times landed in Cancun....must a been a cheap flight if you had a stopover lol

Cancun has a large airport, and has for years. You can fly on AA direct from Dallas. I used my miles to book first class, just in case Sleazy was on my plane. I did not want him to see me in coach.

Air Canada sucks ass. Just wait till west jet starts doing the longer flights. Service will be much better.
