buying a new motorcycle
i am having a tough time deciding on which bike to go with in the spring. its time i checked out some cruisers because i love riding for hours, but i have a problem. i can't keep my eyes off of one more crotch rocket..........the hayabusa.
which should i go for. a classic hog, or a missile named hayabusa |
Hayabusa is fast but heavy.
Straight line burner but damn fast... 0-120 in 6-7 secs I believe |
the busa baby I had a 2000 befor they governed em. It's a big bitch but a great riding sportbike.
|
Definitely go for the classic hog. Crotch rockets are nice but you might die riding the Hayabusa on the FDR or BQE. There's too many potholes here for that kinda stuff.

dangerous !
|
hog, no doubt
|
I've always loved Honda's which is probably why I've got three of them. The only one of mine that might interest you is the RC51. Kickass superbike for half the price of a Ducati.

Izzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy
Ill get one to this spring Me you and schnozilla can go darting in and out of traffic on the LIE at 120 mph |
Izzz you are close......on the right dealer floor anyway...If you are looking to really get into the adrenaline....buy a GSX-R 1000 the Hbusas are fast in a straight line but the Gixxxer 1000 is the weapon of choice on the street today....
also the super motard Hooligan bikes are cool too the KTM duke is funner than a box of puppies to ride...or do an xr650 conversion If you buy a cruiser make it a Harley or dont make it at all... http://www.suzukicycles.com/images/g.../GSXR1000A.jpg |

Get the Hog :)
Best rides ever. I have a custom chrome fat boy and love it to death :) |
the BMW R 1200 CL is a great bike
|
all good comments.
i do love all of the superbikes. i used to ride my bros R1 all the time and that thing was sick. the RC51 is hot but i don't wanna go back to a twin. i love the busa because of its straight line speed. i wanna do 190 mph......lol.........i've only hit 150 on previous bikes. and i don't mind the extra weight. on the other hand, i've seen some gorgeous hogs out there lately like the victory vegas. i took one out for a ride and it was smoooooooooooooooother than juicy's pickup lines. i am too damn split-minded. anyway i have 3 more months til i can actually ride without freezing my nuts |

i know the pain all too well. i already tore apart my ankle 2 years ago when i got cutoff by a lexus. when i healed i got back on. the truth is that this is the only real addiction i have. i find myself wanting to go for a ride at 4 in the morning sometimes just for the fuck of it. vrroooooooooooooooooooooom we only live once |

i've been looking into this. the only problem is that i hate riding in big groups so i think i would hate riding agianst a gang of racers. soooooooo, i've been thinking about drag racing. thats where the busa comes in:Graucho
i bet i end up getting 2 used bikes instead of one new one. maybe i'll just get an older busa and an older victory:glugglug |

Also give the new CBR1000RR a look. It made a hell of an impresson at the Dunlop tire test at Daytona recently.
