Umm, in Norway you can not even own a web domain if you plan to put something like anti-immigration site on it - it is totally banned. In Germany, you can go to jail for such things, and I recently heard in Britian that some guy who talked about Arabs in the paper was not only fired from his job, but also the Police were looking into it.

The EU supports such policies, and even has a few of its own. Your lucky I am too lazy, or else I'd dig up the links. It just seems fucked to me, that a place which is basically the start of freedom and democracy as we know it today still feels it needs to ban words.

firstly - that was Kilroy and he sucks. He had been doing a bland morning talk show for years and the BBC were looking for a reason to axe it because his show sucked ass. Also an ex - mp and he also sucked at that.

Secondly, an article was written by him saying that all Arabs are babykillers and then wanted to host discussion show the techincally falled under the news department heading. You can't be on such a show if you are known to be so clearly biased on the BBC. Largely do to it being publicly funded.

The BBC gave him room for damage limitation, he made it worse, his show sucked anyway so they fired him.
