TGP owners don't need people to sell adverting space for them either but they do it to avoid the idiots and save themselves time and hassle.

Beyond that, negotiation is an art form and not everyone has the patience.

Thats just a fucking good idea . But you should put them under different prices / post categories with search features . some webmasters might be looking for a lot of posts from newbs but other ones rather less posts from established people .

When I went to college in Boston, there was this one guy in a particular subway station who played trumpet for the people waiting for the train to come. He sucked *horribly* on purpose, and had a sign that read "I won't play my trumpet for a dollar a minute". I only heard him play for about 3 minutes total, and he was indeed horrible. I was probably in that station for 4 hours in total (over 3 years). Thus, he made close to $60 an hour just for shutting the fuck up.

Yeh that's a fair number.

If you calculate your post count and then how many people will see it, the CPM impression rate works out to a very reasonable number. Plus your credibility, likeability, quick wit and humor, etc. all add additional value to the equation.

Hey if celebs in Hollywood can do it, why not here too. The stars draw and get the eyeballs, they should be rewarded accordingly.

At $2k you have a definite sell, at $4k I'll see what I can do. Added!

And keep in mind Fletch you can always discount and give someone a better price. You know you can nail $2k so ask $4k and meet in the middle at $3k and make an extra $1k.
