These SIG prices remind me of old school YNOT auctions.
This SIG market pandemonium reminds me of the early YNOT auction days when the prices were so inflated you couldn't make 1% of the ROI. #1 spots going for like $15,000 for a link that sent about 20-50 hits a day.
This has to level off within the next 6 months to a more realistic cost average or we are going to have people retiring from the adult business to strictly board whore. My :2 cents: -Tony |
you say that like it's a bad thing

Business is business :2 cents:

People pay more than $2000 for a banner spot at the top of a board that's in a rotation.... in a place where people just naturally avoid their eyes from anyway. They go straight to the threads.
So why not pay an actual poster $1000 instead, where you know people's attention will be? It's called smart advertising. :glugglug |
No doubt $2000 is very reasonable. Im seeing people ask for over $8000 per month.

My analysis suggests that we will se some big increases in sig costs over the next few months. There are some really huge returns to be made on links that get 25 click throughs per day. I predict that prices will increase to 50k/ month max. This represents a very impressve .001% return on invest and avoids all the physical effort of flushing the money down the toilet.

It must be profitable for sponsors, why they would pay for it ?
"hey are the "celebs" of the board, who have respect from practically everyone and people pay attention and actually check out whats in their sig. Examples include Quiet and AaronM" :thumbsup |
