Is this the magic year people claim to have started in when they lie? I've heard "Since 1997 we've been.." at least a dozen times today.

Didn't get back in the country until 1998, and started in 1999.

1995

1997 I was making shit loads of money from Y2K and the millennium bug, although i did want to get into the adult industry on-line in 1996 after selling my share in a software company.

Made the mistake of telling the wife, she hit the roof and said "over my dead body" uuuummm now there is a thought.

Looking now on GFY I should of gone with my instincts back then

Started with my first website in 97, that was on some free space from my internet provider.

Bought my first domain early in 98.
But didn't make much money untill late 98,
when I started my first paysite and spammed the hell out of Altavista.

I started in the Internet business in 1995. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the adult space until late 2000. :(

I made my 1st AVS site in 97.....

My ex-partner still gets checks from it as well!!!

I was doing this right after Al Gore invented the internet.

- What was the very first internext called (use to be a different name)
- Where was the first internext held (not at the Venetian/Sands)

1996 and I can prove it. I have every check stub I've ever received and tax documents dating back to 1996. Gotta keep good records in case of an audit.
