Novarg virus is out of hand!
 

Doesn't pay to go to sleep for 4 or 5 hours. Between actual virus emails and emails notifying me of block attachments or returns (for virus emails spoofing my email address), I woke up to 1,040 new emails.

I feel your pain.

I still didnt get it 1...im really wondering why. Last big outbreak i also didnt get 1.

I get a lot of other viruses, the smaller ones but the big outbreaks skip me...really odd since i have my emails on my sites and infected users should also send mails to those just like pk's for instance.

That's awful the same thing happen to me too! Been deleting for awhile now since I woke up. :(

Its mostly related to how much traffic you get. The more infected users surf your site the bigger the chance you will get a virus sent from someone's IE cache.

I think the spam I get is so aggressive that it's beating up any virus emails that think about getting near my mailbox.

this one hits heavier than initially anticipated. what a ride, damn.

over 700 of them in my inbox overnight.

I got one earlier to my pornkings address (pornkings@mydomain) Not sure how that happened. I've never used it for anything else, of course.

I tried spamarrest.. wanna bet? It's more work for me than it's worth because of all the emails I receive.

I use a program called Mailwasher Pro that allows me to view headers before downloading emails. It runs through several of the known spam databases, marks the headers based on that and filters you've set up, friends list and blacklist. Then I run it to delete the emails I don't want, and finally download the email I do want in Pegasus (have never used Outlook).

I really doubt that :/

I don't think I've received it, but I'm not sure. I use Spammix so most of my email goes into that box, and I use AVG for virus protection.

(knock on wood) 2000+ emails a day and even though I'm sure I've received viruses, I've never been affected by one. :)

Getting tons of it here as well. Damn virus makers. If only they would put thier efforts into something worthwhile... they could use that destructive power to achive so much...

Haven't got one either. Probably because all my email addresses are shown with images.

PK, Mailwasher pro took me days to download all the mails so you can filter them out. I was getting over 6000 per hour. I had so many of my own filters running on OE that it just froze up and never worked again. Spam arrest doesn't bring the mail you don't want down from your server. And another problem I ran into with Mailwasher was that the bounce blacklist did nothing. supposedly, if you bounce or blacklist them they are supposed to not come your way again or at least let your spammer know it was a bad address. Once Mailwasher couldn't process the amount of mail I was getting, I opened my box without it and in flooded thousands and thousands of fresh virus and spam. Checking mail isn't quick with MWP.

I do not have any problems with spamarrest.
In fact all I get now, is the emails I want. Since it only lets mails through of approved email addresses.

I don't sell it, I'm just trying to give people some options instead of living with it.
