What are the top three BLACK SABBATH songs?
I want to download a couple of Black Sabbath songs. I saw a documentary on them on televisoin the other day and the music didn't seem half bad. However, I don't have a fucking clue as to what songs to download.
Any suggestions? |

I agree that about any three are good, but here is a couple that haven't been posted yet.
The song called Black Sabbath Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Children of the Grave Sabbath rules. |
No such thing. I could listen to Sabbath all day. And I have, many times.
Electric Funeral Fairies Wear Boots NIB Black Sabbath Wizzard Paranoid Iron Man Children of the Grave Just a few of my favorites. Pick up their Reunion double-disc set. Awesome compilation, live of course when they toured a couple years back. I went to that tour, fucking incredible. Top 3 shows ever. |
you can't go wrong with pretty much any songs off their first 6 cds
|
I'll be a lil different here:
The Writ (is my all-time favorite BS song) The Thrill Of It All (second) Snowblind (third) Black Sabbath is awesome! |
National Acrobat
Juniors Eyes WASP/Behind the Wall of Sleep/Basically/NIB Johnny Blade :thumbsup :thumbsup |
I just popped them in right now. Thanks. :)

No one's mentioned Supernaut?
Basically any album that had Ozzy on vocals. Didn't care for Dio that much. |
Hand of Doom
War Pigs Paranoid |
what about Hole in the Sky?
thats my favorite |
Definatley these 3 I have been a Sabbath Fan for Years
After Forever NIB and Walpurgus( Original Version of Warpigs) |
Paranoid is what i like best :thumbsup
|
You can't really pick 3 from the Ozzy years, since everything from Black Sabbath to Never Say Die kicks ass, but here are some I listen to more than others:
Symptom of the Universe Wheels of Confusion Lord of the World Hole in the Sky Wicked World Under the Sun for Dio: Sign of the Southern Cross Children of the Sea Heaven & Hell Pretty much everything from Heaven & Hell, Mob Rules and Dehumainzer is really good. Every other "Black Sabbath" variant is pretty gay in comparison to the Ozzy and Dio stuff. |
Hole In The Sky
Supernaut Tomorrow's Dream fuck man, too many awesome songs to list just 3 I could roll off another 20 without even glancing at a CD list |
Sweet Leaf
NIB Fairies Wear Boots |
my favorites:
paranoid & iron man |
1.- Paranoid, An all time classic
2.- War Pigs, The best song they ever made 3.- Black Sabbath, The signature song 4.- Solitude, Quite relaxing song, amazing, especially coming from them. 5.- Faries wear boots, Showing off they can play ;-) 6.- Heaven and Hell, The best lyrics. :thumbsup |
war pigs
paranoid iron man |

Ditto: Impossible to narrow it down to 3. Best bet: Break out your old vinyl copy of "We Sold Our Souls...", spark one up and call it a day... :smokin
But pinning to just 3: War Pigs Electric Funeral Supernaut <br> |
Thanks for all of your input. It turns out that the song I heard on the documentary that I was looking for was War Pigs. That's the kind of song you listen to on full blast while driving black 67 chevy with lines of coke on your dashboard and a beer in your hand while on your way to do some sort of violent crime.
I listened to Iron Man and Paranoid also. I've heard iron man before but I didn't know who it was. It's hard to understand what Ozzy is saying though. I didn't have that problem with War Pigs. That's the kind of song that could have never been released until this year and still been a hit. That's a classic. edit....electric funeral is a good pre-crime song too |
