My black friend doesn't like the use of the word "nigger"
Or any variation of it. He told me that a lot of black people had to suffer because of people who used that word.
I told him that the more people use that word, the less power it has. If people keep using it, the word will take on a new meaning. Now wouldn't that be a real victory? He agreed to the logic I was employing. Now look, little suburban white kids trying to be "gangsta" use that word to be cool. Who would've imagined that? So if you want to spoil the negative meaning of the word "******", you should use it often and encourage everyone you know to do the same. In time we can transform it completely into a term of endearment. |
Many 'gangsta rappers' use the word ****** in their lyrics

I can understand that...but it seems that the black artists are the ones that seem to make it ok to use that word and keep it alive.
