Does Verotel still have a customer support department ?

I have been trying to email Verotel now since 2nd January and STILL no response to around 6 emails sent.

I have tried:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected] (an autoresponder - great)

Anyone know what the secret handshake is that gets an email answered ?

I had the same experience with Globosale and then PSWBilling not answering their emails either in their last month of business - so hope this is not a sign of the times...

I posted this message on their support forum too - but got a message saying it wouldnt be posted until a moderator had approved it, so I figure thats a wasted post...

Anyone got any other emails I should try ?

Yes, but's she's under my desk right now. Do the live support option and I'll let her up for a few.

I was thinking about Verotel for a processor, guess I will stop thinking about them.

If I cannot talk to them about a problem I would get out fast.

Well, I was gonna sign with 'em..... Now?

Why haven't you tried the phone?

Could be an email problem?

Digipimp 01-25-2004 11:29 PM

I like that 7 page agreement in which you sign over your first born that they use.

Im in Australia so would prefer to avoid the long distance call costs let alone juggling the time zone differences. The call costs are of course no big deal - but I figure ANY company should be able to communicate with their customers via email - let alone one who has a predominantly internet based business. I cant believe they dont have reps on ICQ I can talk direct to.

As for email problems - well that is their main ones - so for them all to be not working for 6 weeks would seem unrealistic. If it was the one email I was mailing time and time again - sure then I could accept there might be a problem, but to have had no response to any of the different emails for that same period would seem to be an indication of bigger underlying problems ???

If anyone has any recommendations on who I should try next - please let me know.

I would like a biller where I dont have to have an EU or US based business set up.

I dont even care about paying the $750 VISA extortion fee anymore. The amount of money I have lost being dicked around and losing all my rebills every time the next one collapses is ridiculous.

Me to, but how? How are you gonna do that if Visa doesn't want you to?

I am SO SICK of billing companies and sponsors who don't respond to email, rip you off, go out of business, etc.

I hear ya. I was with Globosale.net and then PSWBilling.com for years and when they went down I lost close to 1,000 rebills per month which hurt.

What REALLY shits me is they all keep "reserves" when you join in case of your rebills etc - but now days all I read when I hear the term "reserve" in relation to billing companies is "retirement fund". ie This is the money we are going to take from you every payout so that we can retire when we eventually get sick of running our business.

Then they have the nerve to sell their mailing list with my details so I have to put up with crappy spam from whichever cock bough it.

Next billing company you join use an email like [email protected] so you can see where they sell it.... Privacy policies my ass...

Verotel only have a handful of staff. I know they have at least three lol, but doubt many more then that.
Your best bet is to contact Nicole for tech support, but email will take a few days no doubt
[email protected] your better off calling around 8,pm your time by telephone.
Trust me.

We are in a similar situation at present. If I were you I would use CCBILL as your main processor even with no visa they will still process just as much as verotel do, if not more, leave Verotel as a backup to catch the visa sales. A lot of peps have MasterCard?s you know.

Since the demise of GLOBILL we have formed a partnership and incorporated into the USA. It has taken months and months to get finalized ?mainly held up by the bank? however come tomorrow we expect to lodge the visa application with CCBILL.

Personally the pet hate for verotel is their lame passwords and security.
Good luck Mate

Darryl usually responds very quickly.

Try using live support - sometimes you just need to wait a little - but haven't had many problems here...
