Who was the last person who "let you down" / "ripped you off" in the industry...
 

Well for me last person that ripped me off was a programmer called VIKAS 150947036 did not produce the fucking software i paid for and still waiting.... arsehole...

Last let down would be programmer again, Eric P not producing work he promised and after 1 month decided didn't have time, got money back though.

Darren - as a programmer, have I proved this way? I think I've worked hard for you, as I have with all employers I've worked for.

I don't think it's fair to tarnish everyone with the same brush. Sure I can name a fair few "lazy" programmers. It seems to be that the industry has a reputation for being the highest paid and most underworked sector out there. This doesn't help with the "influx of skilled workers" - most of them aren't as skilled as they say they are. I think for most of them work avoidance is necessary to keep them in the industry long enough to learn their trade before anyone realises they don't know what they're doing.

ben my general experience with programmers as been lousy, ive met 1 good one out of aout 15 ive used or tried to in the past and that is Stefan, regarding urself we are yet to witness ur programming skills but im sure we will do soon :)
