Europeans, Click Here I have a strange but interesting proposition for you.

I want to trade my families vacation home in South Florida for yours in Europe. I know it sounds crazy but give me a minute to explain myself.

I built a site about it here: http://www.SummerBeachHouse.com

Basically, I get my 9 year-old daughter one month a year. This year I want to take both of my kids to Europe for a month. I'm offering to trade this 900,000 dollar house in South Florida, complete with everything, for yours for a month.

It's got high-speed Internet access, 3 bedrooms, etc. We even just installed an elevator.

If you live anywhere that an American like me would consider interesting, and are interested in the proposition, hit me up at Rick AT Dollars.com.

Your house doesn't even have to be as nice just somewhere cool with high-speed access because I'll be living and working from it for 4 weeks.

Naturally, there will be many details to work out so just hit me up if you have an interest and we?ll go from there.

Don't challenge me because I will crush you. I'm in a bad mood and don't want to take any shit from a nobody on the boards especially not if it is about my family that I will still need to feed while I'm gone.

And I see her much more than once a year, that is just the time I get her for a whole month!

Jer 01-25-2004 04:01 PM

Nickelodeon has a show with that name (Summer Beach House).

They didn't even translate the name here in Brazil. In the very near future we'll see TV and print ads totally in english here. Tsc, tsc.

I'll consider anywhere but I'd prefer Spain, Italy or France. Hell, I'll spend the summer in Finland if it was a nice house on the water. I'd even consider a flat in London or Moscow. Just let me know if you are interested.

SteveLightspeed 01-25-2004 04:09 PM

Cool idea Rick!

I wonder if anyone would like to stay in my double-wide, in lovely Gilbert AZ... its not too bad except for the faulty AC in 120 degree heat...

"I got me a double wide, just to prove I got money..." :thumbsup

London sounds great. Hell, so does New Zealand! I just want to take my kids somewhere cool and stay long enough to get to know the place a little.

Dirty F 01-25-2004 06:10 PM

Dude, how about a nice houseboat in the heart of Amsterdam...while you work in my office you'll have a view on the canals...

I have highspeed access.

I lived in Amsterdam for 2.5 years. So, any other city would be preferable. Don't get me wrong, I love it there. I would just like to experience something new.

However, I'll be there for Queen's Day again this year. Let's down some Heinekens.

In France I can recommend the Provence. It's near to Cannes-Nice-Monaco and to the Alpes with Grenoble and a beautiful countryside.
But, I don't have a house there, sorry. But I'm sure that you could rent one for less money.

I was in Cannes for the AOE show in October 2002. It is certainly a beautiful city. To rent a full size house there it would be around 10,000 euros for a month. It isn't cheap to rent a nice house in Europe for that length of time.

Don't get me wrong, I have the 10,000 Euros I would just prefer to not spend it. That's how you end up having 10,000 Euros or more. ;)

Yes ofcourse..ive got everything you can find in a normal house as well.

Its not like my boat is moving or something.

Check the link i posted earlier in this thread...you'll see what the boats look like, they are not real boats ofcourse.

You posted links to other people's house boats. I always thought those were real boats just docked and wired.

I used to live op de Princengracht naar de Rozengracht. What part of town is your boat?
