I don't believe there is a single best country in the world, I think there are a few really good ones (and America is one of them), but America has it's faults just like all countries.

Going around declaring your country to be the single best in the world is just useless arrogance, besides, it's also very insulting to your allies. So I don't see any point to doing it.
