I got addicted to Vice City! and I used to love Galaga when I was a kid :) but you are right, I usually dont care about video games!

my gf hates most video games cause i always kick her ass...

but she likes 1P games, like roller coaster tycoon, the sims, GTA..etc

cause thier b/f's usually kick thier ass and so they never get into them

most girls i know love SOME games...but its mostly old stuff like pac man and tetris.

it is just too advanced for them

My gf always rags on me when I play GTA and Postal and laugh maniacally...

they just don't understand. :(

I love video games. A few few of my fav's are Madden 2004, Vice City, and Max Payne.

I love video games. In fact I used to enter Video game tournaments all the time, and I haven't found too many guys who can beat me at the games I'm good at.

i beat Max Payne 2 yesterday.

It has to do with the right and left sides of the brain. Men use one side more and women use the other side more.

This explains why men are better at hand-eye coordination things, like playing video games and driving.

Video games provide two pivitol needs: the need to do something action packed, and the need to escape from reality.

While all humans regardless of gender occasionally like to escape from reality, especially losers, it is only men who traditionally fantasize about doing action packed aggressive things portrayed in videogames.

So, you will find most video game fans to be teenage boys/adult virgin male loser (I HATE MY LIFE I HATE SCHOOL I AM GOING TO LOCK MYSELF IN MY ROOM, BECOME THAT GUY IN MAX PAYNE AND TOTALLY KICK SOME ASS!!!)
HOWEVER, there are plenty of females who are either losers, or have active imaginations that tend to like less action packed aggressive games: strategy, rpg (non-violent ones), etc.

Its a guy thing. No room for women in the video games world.

Because none of them are about shoes.

It's also true that women are generally much better at multi-tasking than men. That probably explains why the wife often reads her book when she's riding me. Hmmm...on second thoughts it may simply be that I'm a crap lay. I'll have to ask her :(

I am a woman and I LOOOOOOOVVVEEEE video games! I used to kick ass in Duke Nukem 3D in my BBS days! NONE of the guys on the board could beat me. Muahahahah!

I love fightning games and adventure games. I play Ultima Online and I have a pretty decent character and a nice large house inside the city gates of a city and a few million gold. I love to play Tekken 3 and Soul Calibur. I also like sim games. I admit I was briefly addicted to Harvest Moon. *blush*

And I'm into old Atari and Commodore games, too. Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, M.U.L.E., Legacy of the Ancients, the great old Infocom games like Starcross, Suspended and the Zork series...

Video games ROCK!

Meant to mention - I met the wife in a game online so I knew before hand she likes them. Makes life more interesting and saves the nagging about spending too much time playing them :)

I met my husband in an online game, too. A MUD. :)

My GF loves video games. I know of other chicks that do, too. Just a myth.

Sadly me too. I was minister in charge of newbies (to this day I still have nightmares about it). Since then I've not played MUDs as I now realise how truly evil they can be!

we do like video games we just dont like watching you guys play video games for hours that we could be cuddling or doing something else.

used to play duke nukem, wolfenstein, prince of persia (years ago) When I was 4 years old my parents owned a video store with a few arcade games in it. I was addicted to Tiger Heli. A lot of guys would come in and try to beat me. No one ever did. All the teenage boys used to get so frustrated that a 4 year old girl was beating them. About two years ago I bought the NES Tiger Heli game. I still kick ass!!!

I like GTA now, State of Emergency, Tekken, Mortal Kombat. Basically I LOVE going around and killing people. I love gore. I like to not have to think so much so naturally I dont like RPG at all.

My wife is so stuck on Everquest...

I bough an xbox, and Morrowind, and she's playing that as I type this. I have my pc back!

The reason I don't like video games is because men have a tendency to obsess and play them all the time. ANYTHING that negatively affects or interferes with my sex life is bad. Video games have proven to be bad.

Not sure, I stop listening when she would start talking about it, she doesnt play anymore since the xbox came into the house.

The original Final Fantasy on Nintendo KICKS ASS! I loved that game. And I really loved Super Mario Bros. 3 :)
