We Need Another Paysite Contest
 

We need another paysite contest like the one Amp setup a while ago. All the top designers design a site and it gets judged by a panel of judges. The winner gets bragging rights for a year as well as free exposure and ofcourse money and prizes. As the designs come in they get shown to all GFY members which makes for good advertising in itself.

i think there's been a few attempts since then, and every one of them ended in disaster.

I learned my lesson early on. I'll never host or enter another design contest. Said it then and still feel the same way. It's just asking for problems.

design contests suck.

10 times out of 10 the winning design is significantly inferior to much of it's competition.
