Anyone ever have this tv out issue?
 

Just got a new hp laptop and I am trying the tv out using svideo and the display is in black and white. Anyone ever see this before???

Either you bent the pins on the cable when you connected it, or the cable is bad and needs to be replaced, or the output on the HP is fucked.

I would bet you bent the pins on the svideo cable when you jammed it in. Take it out and make sure the 4 pins on both ends of the cable are all still straight.
