"Let me explain how the economy works. When you spend money to buy food, it helps this lady's business. It makes it more likely somebody is going to find work."

What is so funny about that? It's common sense.
If the woman's business improves, she'll hire more workers to keep up with the increased demand.
More workers = more jobs = more people working = less people in the unemployment line.

Why is that so hard to understand?

He bought a $42.95 takeout order of ribs, fried okra, cornbread and buttermilk pie for the Air Force One flight back to Washington.
And how much did the US spend in Iraq putting back together their economy?

This guy is a totla donkies arse and with less brains.

Carrie
Think about it a little more and look at what he has done to the US and world economy and then tellme he has a clue.

Even the fact he can pull this stunt show how brainless he is.

Maybe he was getting in some practise for his next job, flipping burgers. :1orglaugh

I can't believe you Americans don't feel ridiculed by having this monkey running around acting as your president.

No shit.

I hate the fact that I feel like I need to call someone out, but Carrie don't be dense. The fact that he went into a diner to do this sounds like he's just learned how the economy works. And encouraging people to spend their money? What a fucking fool Bush is.

He want's to encourage people to spend so he doesn't have to figure out how to create jobs himself.

You are right. If americans are so dumb to think he just revealed the biggest economic policy, then they do deserve this monkey as their president.

BTW, that is the type of economics that are taught in kindergarden ... with fake money...

We're in deeper doo-doo:1orglaugh

Was thinking about this over dinner and seeing how stupid this guy is.

He's made it harder for the lower earning half of America, no change in the middle and improved the lot of those at the top.

Lower half = eat in a diner.
Middle lot = eat at home.
Top end = eat in a bistro in Paris.

This example is relative to Bush's example

Not only do you have an idiot steering the ship, but he thinks he's clever and you're stupid.

Worse still the idiots around him failed to point his mistake out to him.

gee, you people should be political experts and economists. Your wasting your talents with great business models like giving away free hardcore porn.
