The Butterfly Effect

I just got back from the theater, and I loved it! It was really sad, and kindof trippy, but overall, it was a good movie.

Did anyone else see it? If so, what did you think? I know it got shitty reviews, but I thought it was pretty damned good!

valley hina 01-23-2004 06:19 PM

i am going to see it tonight i can wait

pornkitten 01-23-2004 06:53 PM

my friend said it kicks ass and then I hung up on her b4 she could ruin it.

gornyhuy 01-23-2004 07:16 PM

laura99 01-23-2004 07:18 PM

Was wondering if that dork was ever going to do a serious movie.

The trailer actually looked pretty good when I seen it in the theater. Too bad they picked him for the lead role... about the only person I can think of that would have been a worse choice would be Ben Affleck.

I might go see it though. The part where he meets his girlfriend after changing the past and she ends up being a scar-faced crack whore looked pretty interesting.

Bansheelinks 01-23-2004 10:27 PM

the Ashton motherfucka can't act.........

that and he's personally annoying.......

someone ought to jact his ass up

:2 cents:

DreamCumTrue 01-23-2004 10:33 PM

He did a good job in this movie in my opinion. It's his first time his character wasn't a douchebag.

If you see it, you'll probably agree, unless you don't like him because he's with Demi Moore. :winkwink:

BV 01-23-2004 10:50 PM

Saw Mystic River tonight, pretty good.

Honeyslut 01-24-2004 01:17 AM

myjah 01-24-2004 01:37 AM

valley hina 01-24-2004 02:32 AM

That's cool how you instantly disreguard his or her opinion as teenie bopper n'sync MTV type blabbering...

I'm 18 and I'm positive that most intelligent young adults don't like things like MTV that promote ignorance, Teenagers actually have a 6th sense to decide if something is cheesy and unentertaining very quick.. I do anyway

Picking on somebody for age is cool!

I know you are mostly geeks who got picked on growing up, and behind a computer screen you feel it's your time for revenge... but why don't you treat ME with some respect? Somebody actually socially and mentally successful

That's gotta be the funniest quote this year. You actually contradicted yourself LOL.

ad-lib 01-24-2004 12:52 PM

I think this movie is one of the absolute best I've seen in a theatre, in years.

Mind you I have seen MatchStick Men, Mystic River, 21 grams, and Big Fish all this year. All of which were absolutely amazing. So - To say this is the best of them all, speaks volumes in itself. Great great fucking flick. I'm telling you!

beemk 01-24-2004 12:54 PM

no i didnt

axelcat 01-24-2004 12:58 PM

If you didn't watch MTV, perhaps you would know that "Ludacris" is more a brand name for a rapper than a properly spelled word. Methinks you doth protest too much.

Daymare 01-24-2004 04:23 PM

AWESOME movie!! Go see it, that's all I have to say!!

pornkitten 01-24-2004 07:27 PM

The movie kicks ass, really deep, emotional and answers all your questions at the end. Makes you think and Ashton Kutcher does a great job!!

I saw it and liked it a lot. I agree about Ashton, normally I don't like him that much, but he did a good job in this movie. :)
