heh unless you willing to spend $10g's AND know right people (programmers) I don't see anyone giving you right tools..
also you can send 10million a day but the delivery rate will be shit unless you got 10 machines going at 1million each... |

Unless my math is wrong thats only 7.2 mil an hour.
I can get mail out at a little over double that rate. And yes I see all my seeds pretty much so they are getting delivered.. about 95% in. So its that hard to believe unless maybe your using super mailer. |

Let me guess off one box right? |

Or ironport or custom setups |
Ya, I get 14+ mil off one server..
Actually I have one main server than controls 8 other servers to get out about 16 mil e-mails an hour. And no its not super mailer :Kissmy |

And sure, you can build something custom. |

Or maybe I've been too busy working/mailing to bother posting here before. If your sitting on the forums chatting your probably not working.

Nope,
A couple of guys already did that a few days ago. I'm happy with my mailer. Sure its fast.. but its just spam software and I'm cheating by bccing. You guys are talking mailing 1 at a time probably. |
We have awesome software that we are selling that can mail out 10 mill a day on a single machine with all the bells and whistles, but it is windows based.. for under 10k $
If you are interested contact me on icq 65186736 or email [email protected] |
A little over 1 million per day can be done quite inexpensively
on standard PC hardware without any expensive software. You just need the right configuration of standard tools. The DNS is the initial bottleneck, so you have to set up the right lookup and caching system that can keep most of your mailer threads going even when someone's DNS takes 4 seconds to respond. With expensive software a single machine can do a little over 1 million per day. If you're selling software what you do is setup 1 mailer machine and hook it to 3 dedicated DNS servers. Then you pump out 4 million per day, with just one mailling machine, never mind that you needed 3 more machines for DNS. Then you run a list through that is 80% undeliverable so you can claim 5 times as many mails as you actually delivered. Now you're claiming 20 million per day "on a single machine". Then you refilter the list to include mostly emails on the biggest domains, such as yahoo.com, msn.com, and aol.com, so you don't have to hit the DNS nearly as much and you can batch deliver 20 at a time. Now you claim 80 million per day. It's all bullshit, of course, but bullshit sells. Hell, what else would you expect from people in the spam business, anyway? If you'd rather not spend $10,000 on bullshit, what you do is find a damn good Linux admin who knows mail servers and have him spend all damn day setting it up right for you. At $65/hour, that'll cost you $580. No bullshit. If you want to send 5 million per day, you can buy $10,000 software and hope that it's not bullshit, or you can spend $4,000 and buy 5 bare 1.5GHz servers. Then spend $1,000 to have your hardcore admin put Linux on them and set up the cluster. Unfortunately for the spammers, your local hardcore admin wants to see some evidence a large, legitimate opt-in list before he helps you with anything. |
Ya because WTF do spammers know!?
They just make there living by sending e-mails.. Its not like spammers would know a thing or two about making sure the e-mail gets delivered past modern filters so that they can get paid. Your better off mailing with your own software and getting your opt ins 80% blocked :thumbsup And no I'm not selling any software Just giving my :2 cents: |

I said that people in the business of selling spam software, which is illegal in many states, make extremely exaggerated claims about their software in order to sell it to you. I then suggested that it's not suprising that people in the business of selling illegal goods would be less than completely honest about their product's performance. |
